Jharkhand News : The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at the office premises of ONGC CBM Asset, Bokaro. The programme began with the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ after In-charge Security Deep Joshi escorted Asset Manager Rajiv Kumar Sinha to the dais. The Asset Manager then hoisted the National Flag.
Call to Strengthen Energy Security
Addressing the gathering, Asset Manager Rajiv Kumar Sinha appreciated the excellent work carried out by various departments. He also called upon employees to contribute towards further strengthening the country’s energy security.
Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya presented captivating performances, including dances and patriotic songs. Children of ONGC employees also showcased their talent through songs, dance, music and instrumental performances.
₹30,000 Presented to Parade Commander
On the occasion, Asset Manager Rajiv Kumar Sinha presented a cheque of ₹30,000 to the Parade Commander. He also announced a cash award of ₹25,000 for the children of Kendriya Vidyalaya to encourage and motivate the personnel and students.

The programme was attended by ONGC Bokaro Head-HR Dayanand Kalundia, Head-HEC Vijayendra Singh, former Head-HEC Smt. Barnali Das, Sub-Surface Head Sunaram Marandi, former Sub-Surface Head Alok Das, Head-Drilling Apurvajyoti Bora, Head-Ground Team Vipin Prasad, Head-Supply Chain Management Arindam Bhattacharya, Shishir Ratan Kerketta from Engineering Services, Head-Well Services Vikas Chandra Singh, Head-Logging Services Birendra Kumar, and HR General Manager Dolly Kumari.
All department heads, officers and employees were also present during the Independence Day celebrations.
