Ranchi: Senior BJP leaders, including State President and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi, paid their respects to veteran Jharkhand leader Shibu Soren at his residence in Morabadi. Accompanied by party MLAs and senior figures, Marandi offered floral tributes to the late leader, fondly known as ‘Dishom Guru.’
Among those who joined in paying homage were former Chief Ministers Raghubar Das, Arjun Munda, and Madhu Koda. Chief Whip Naveen Jaiswal, Whip Nagendra Mahto, Raj Sinha, MLAs Neera Yadav, Manoj Yadav, Satyendra Tiwari, Alok Chourasia, Devendra Kunwar, Amit Yadav, Roshanlal Chaudhary, Ujjwal Das, Manju Kumari, Geeta Koda, Sharad Mahato, Ragini Singh, Prakash Ram, Amar Kumar Bauri, Neelkanth Singh Munda, and Amit Mandal were also present.
Former MP Ram Tahal Choudhary, former MLA Samari Lal, BJP Media In-charge Shivpujan Pathak, and state spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo also attended the tribute ceremony.
The gathering reflected the wide respect Shibu Soren commanded across party lines and his enduring influence on Jharkhand’s political landscape.
