Offbeat: Recently, actress Rubina Dilaik and her husband Abhinav Shukla were seen together on the TV show Pati Patni Aur Panga. Rubina mentioned that the show aligns well with the new phase of her life. She shared that she wanted to spend more time with her husband and have some fun, which led her to take up the show. According to her, it was a refreshing experience to share screen space with Abhinav.
When asked whether reality shows are scripted, Rubina clarified that they aren’t fully scripted but are somewhat guided. If a particular element appeals to the audience, producers tend to highlight it more. She emphasized it’s better to call them guided rather than scripted.
Abhinav also shared his thoughts on how excessive on-screen exposure of personal lives in reality shows can affect the real-life longevity of relationships. Rubina agreed, saying a strong relationship is built on understanding and accepting each other. “When we acknowledge that we are different yet respect each other, the bond strengthens,” she said.
Abhinav added that when conflicts arise, he prefers to handle them calmly—either stepping back or giving Rubina space so things can be resolved peacefully. He believes some issues are sorted in hours, while others take time. On a humorous note, Abhinav joked, “In our relationship, I just say—whatever you say,” a line that has now become quite popular.
