Jharkhand News : After the demise of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, his daughter-in-law and MLA Kalpana Soren has been diligently performing her duties every day. She is actively participating in the Shraddha (rituals for the departed soul) ceremonies in accordance with traditional customs.

Each day, she prepares traditional food offerings for the late Guruji’s soul, which are then ritually offered by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. This is an essential part of the daily Shraddha observance.
On Tuesday, Kalpana Soren shared a photo on social media showing herself pounding rice using a Dhenki (a traditional wooden rice pounding tool). In her post, she wrote:
“Dhenki is an integral part of our traditional customs and rituals. The brave warrior Dishom Guru shall remain immortal.“
Notably, the final Shraddha ceremony for Guruji is scheduled for August 16, and lakhs of people from across the country are expected to gather for the occasion.
