Heavy Rain Likely in Southwestern Jharkhand Districts on August 19

Jharkhand News : The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in several southwestern districts of Jharkhand on Tuesday, August 19. The districts likely to be affected include East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Palamu, Garhwa, and Latehar.

According to the IMD, isolated thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and strong surface winds with speeds of 30–40 km/h may occur in these regions. A yellow alert has been issued for these areas, urging residents to stay cautious.

Meanwhile, weather in Ranchi and nearby areas is expected to remain clear on Sunday, with bright sunshine likely throughout the day. This may lead to slightly warm and humid conditions in the capital.
