Jharkhand News : On the first day of the monsoon session of the Assembly in Jharkhand on Friday, Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore presented the first supplementary budget of Rs 4296 crore 62 lakh for the current financial year 2025-26 in the House. This budget has been prepared in accordance with various schemes, projects and priorities of the state government.
Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore told the Assembly that this supplementary budget has been brought to meet the requirements which could not be included in the main budget or for which additional funds were felt to be needed. Provisions have been made in the budget for schemes related to education, health, rural development, infrastructure and social security. It has been made clear in the supplementary budget that the goal of the state government is to speed up development works and benefit the needy sections.
On the other hand, in the House, Leader of the Congress Legislature Party Pradeep Yadav raised the demand for giving Bharat Ratna to Dishom Guru Shibu Soren. He said that a resolution should be passed from the Assembly and sent to the Government of India. He also demanded inclusion of Guruji’s struggle story and biography in the syllabus.
