Offbeat News : Actress Rozlyn Khan, who recently battled stage-four metastatic cancer, is now struggling with a new ordeal—Aadhaar card fraud. An unknown individual allegedly used her Aadhaar details to purchase a mobile phone on EMI in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Since then, she has been receiving repeated calls from bank recovery agents.
Expressing her distress, Khan questioned how she could buy a phone in Moradabad while living in Mumbai. Matters took a bizarre turn when bank officials claimed the phone had been purchased by her “husband,” prompting Khan—who is unmarried—to respond with sarcasm. Sharing her ordeal on social media, she raised serious concerns over data security, saying, “If Aadhaar can get me a loan and even a husband in Moradabad, who knows what else has been done in my name?”
Khan plans to file an FIR upon returning to Mumbai. The case has reignited concerns over Aadhaar’s misuse and data safety.
