Jharkhand News : The Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry and Allied Sciences (RINPAS) is set to celebrate its centenary on September 4. A grand event will be held at the RINPAS campus in Kanke to mark 100 years since its establishment.
Renowned mental health experts and psychiatrists from across India and abroad are expected to participate in the celebration.
Jharkhand Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari met Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday and formally invited him to attend the event. The Chief Minister graciously accepted the invitation.
In a press release, Dr. Ansari stated that the event will also serve as a platform to present new initiatives aimed at strengthening mental health services and improving patient care.
He said, “The centenary of RINPAS is not just a milestone for the institute but a proud moment for Jharkhand and the entire country.” Dr. Ansari added that the Chief Minister’s presence will add significance to the occasion.
Highlighting the legacy of RINPAS, the minister noted that the institute, established nearly a century ago, has grown to become one of the premier mental health institutions in the country.
