Offbeat News : Actress Shruti Haasan recently took to social media to share exclusive behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of her film Coolie, refreshing memories of her role as Preeti Rajasekhar.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film features an ensemble cast including superstar Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Aamir Khan, and Malayalam actor Soubin Shahir. In her heartfelt post, Shruti wrote, “Preeti’s diary, memories of Coolie, amazing friends and a special journey… being part of this film was truly memorable and fun. Thank you for all the love and appreciation, it means so much to me.”
The pictures capture Shruti having fun with her co-stars and crew. In one frame, she poses with actor Soubin Shahir and composer Anirudh Ravichander, while another shows her playing with a puppy. A glimpse of her birthday celebration during the shoot was also included.
Recalling the experience, Shruti said, “Sharing the screen with such legends and working under Lokesh Kanagaraj’s direction was an incredible learning experience. It inspired me to explore new dimensions of my acting.”
Apart from acting, Shruti is also an accomplished singer and musician. She is a member of the rock band The Extramentals and has performed at several music festivals. Her English singles include Edge, She Is a Hero, and Monster Machine.
