Jharkhand News : Teachers’ Day was organized on Monday at Seven Stars Academy, Mandap Toli, Hehal, Ranchi. The program began with garlanding and lighting of lamps on the picture of the great philosopher, teacher and former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
Under a special tradition, all the teachers of the school were honored by washing their feet and presenting gifts. On this occasion, the director of the school, Dr. B. Beck, while welcoming the guests and teachers, highlighted the importance of Teachers’ Day in his address and underlined the role of teachers in society.
The children gave captivating presentations in the program, which included dance, drama, song and cultural programs. The presentations of the children captivated everyone and made the atmosphere joyful.
In the end, the school family resolved unanimously that they would continue to strive to give a new direction to education in the society by imbibing the ideals of Dr. Radhakrishnan.
The program was conducted by the children. Mainly Dharamchand Oraon, Seema Tigga, Principal Dr. Baban Kumar, Praful Kumar Bid, Vice Principal Ritu Priya, Amar Amip, along with all the teachers, office staff, vehicle staff etc. were present in the program.
