Jharkhand News : Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday held in-depth discussions with senior officials of the Road Construction Department on the presentation related to the work plan and their design of three important flyovers of Ranchi city proposed by the state government at the Chief Minister’s Residential Office located at Kanke Road Ranchi. The Chief Minister saw a detailed presentation of the flyover project proposed by the state government to be built from Harmu (Sahajanand Chowk) to ACB office.
The Chief Minister told the officials that the construction of Harmu flyover will play an important role in reducing the problem of traffic jams. People face a lot of trouble due to frequent jams on Harmu bypass road. The construction of this flyover will greatly facilitate people in commuting and will also save their time. The Chief Minister directed the officials to connect this flyover to Ratu Road flyover so that the general public can have convenience in commuting. The officials of the Road Construction Department informed the Chief Minister through a presentation that the tender process for the proposed flyover project from Harmu (Sahjanand Chowk) to ACB office has been completed.
The Chief Minister discussed in detail the various aspects of the presentation related to the flyover construction project from Argora Chowk to Kathal Mor and Karam Toli Chowk to Science City and also gave many necessary guidelines to the officials in view of the importance of these flyovers.
The Chief Minister told the officials to prepare a DPR by making a better action plan for the construction of the said flyover and take further action towards giving this project a concrete shape. The Chief Minister directed to build a roundabout (rotary) over the proposed flyover Argora Chowk. The Chief Minister said that by constructing a roundabout at Argora Chowk, many important roads will be connected to each other, which will greatly facilitate people in commuting.
The Chief Minister saw the presentation of the elevated flyover (4 lane) project from Karam Toli Chowk to Science City. The construction of the said flyover and the proposed road construction plan from Doctors Colony to Hill View Bariatu Road were also discussed with the officials.
On the spot, the Chief Minister instructed the officials of the Road Construction Department that it is the priority of the state government to give a concrete shape to all the proposed flyover construction projects and the design related to it by keeping in mind the future needs, hence all the work should be done with full readiness and commitment.
On the spot, Principal Secretary of Road Construction Department Sunil Kumar, Chief Engineer, Road Construction Department Praveen Bhengra, Chief Engineer Vijay Ranjan and Sudhir Kumar of Consultant Company Sparsh Engineering Private Limited along with other officials were present.
