Jharkhand News : Bank of India, one of the country’s leading public sector banks, is observing a Vigilance Awareness Campaign from August 18, 2025, to November 17, 2025, across all its regions in India.
Under the guidance of the Central Vigilance Commission and the bank’s Head Office, several activities are being conducted to promote transparency, integrity, and public awareness. As part of this initiative, vigilance gram sabhas (village meetings) were successfully organized on September 15 and 24, 2025, under the leadership of Zonal Manager Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh and Deputy Zonal Manager Mrs. Banita Mahapatra.
During these programs, branch staff visited 83 villages to educate citizens about cybercrime, fraudulent agents, ATM PIN-related scams, and various digital security threats.
Bank of India has consistently played a proactive role in educating the public and contributing to the nation’s development. This year too, through village-level meetings and awareness programs, the bank has reaffirmed its commitment to building a corruption-free and digitally safe society.
These efforts reflect the bank’s alignment with the Central Vigilance Commission’s mission to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in public services.
