Jharkhand News : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday met newly appointed State Election Commissioner Alka Tiwari and Development Commissioner Ajay Kumar Singh at his Kanke Road residential office in Ranchi.
Alka Tiwari had retired as Chief Secretary on September 30 and assumed charge as State Election Commissioner on October 2. During the meeting, she was accompanied by senior officials and discussed key aspects of her new role.
In a separate meeting, Ajay Kumar Singh, who is also the Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department, met the Chief Minister to discuss various developmental matters.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), both visits were courtesy calls and part of regular administrative protocol following their new appointments.
