Jharkhand News : Several parts of Jharkhand are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall on Friday, according to the Meteorological Department.

A low-pressure area has formed over southern Bangladesh and nearby regions, which may bring rain to parts of the state.

During the past 24 hours, the highest rainfall was recorded in Govindpur (Dhanbad) at 37.4 mm. Other areas, including Kumardungi, Maheshpur, Baharagora, Puliya Majhgaon, and Govindpur, received between 10 mm and 25 mm of rainfall.

On Thursday, dark clouds covered Ranchi and nearby areas since morning, leading to cooler weather conditions. The weather department has ruled out any major change in temperature over the next five days.

In the last 24 hours, the highest temperature was recorded in Pakur at 35.5°C, while the lowest was in Latehar at 19°C.
Ranchi recorded a maximum temperature of 30°C, Jamshedpur and Daltonganj 32.4°C, Bokaro 33.6°C, and Chaibasa 32.8°C.
