Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that JESOWA has been dedicated to public welfare since its inception. Celebrating its silver jubilee this year, the organization has continued its tradition of hosting the annual Diwali Mela with great enthusiasm at this historic venue.

Highlighting the core purpose of the mela, the Chief Minister noted that all proceeds from the event would be used for the welfare of the poor, underprivileged, and for other social upliftment initiatives.

“JESOWA has been actively working in the fields of education and healthcare. Today, the organization is also honoring individuals for their outstanding contributions to social service and inaugurating a public library,” said CM Soren.

He added that while many organizations host fairs during the festive season, JESOWA stands out for its consistent commitment to social causes.

“JESOWA is primarily run by the spouses of Jharkhand IAS officers. I extend my best wishes to all JESOWA members and office bearers for their commendable efforts in uplifting society. May your dedication continue to benefit the needy,” the CM said.
