Jharkhand News : A tragic incident took place at the Sadar Hospital in West Singhbhum district headquarters on Sunday when a patient undergoing treatment allegedly jumped from the hospital’s third floor, leading to his death on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Pradhan Honhaga (40), a resident of Puranapani village under Tonto block.
According to hospital sources, Honhaga had been unwell for several days and was admitted for treatment. However, on Sunday, he suddenly jumped from the third floor of the male ward building. He died instantly after hitting the ground.
Upon receiving information, Sub-Inspector Meghnath Mandal from the Sadar Police Station reached the hospital with his team and began an investigation. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and the family members have been informed.
Police officials said they are probing the incident from all possible angles to determine the reason behind the suicide.
