Dhanbad: Two Buses Collide, 12 Passengers Injured

Jharkhand News : At least 12 passengers were injured when two buses collided near Chalibangla in Rajganj late Monday night. Both buses were on their way from Jamtara to Lugu Pahad in Bokaro to attend an Adivasi Manch event.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when a speeding bus rammed into another bus moving ahead of it. The impact was so severe that panic spread among passengers in both vehicles. The driver of the rear bus sustained serious injuries, while a passenger in the front bus suffered a fractured leg. Several others received minor injuries.

Following the accident, Rajganj police reached the spot and sent the injured to a nearby hospital with the help of ambulances. The collision caused a long traffic jam, which was cleared later in the night after police used cranes to remove the damaged buses. Both vehicles have been seized for investigation.
