Jharkhand News : A serious accident occurred on Wednesday morning at the KTPS Banjhedih Power Plant located under the Jayanagar police station area of Koderma district. During routine work, a plant worker was severely injured. The injured worker has been identified as Prakash Yadav, 35, son of Baleshwar Yadav, a resident of Singardih village under Jayanagar police station.
According to sources, Prakash was employed at the rake point where coal-laden freight trains arrive daily at KTPS. He was responsible for opening the coal wagons one by one for unloading. On Wednesday, while performing his duty, one of the train wagons accidentally moved from its position and hit him directly, leaving him seriously injured.
Other workers present at the site immediately rushed to his aid and sent him to Sadar Hospital, Koderma, by ambulance. After initial treatment, doctors referred him to RIMS Ranchi due to his critical condition.
