Jharkhand News : Swarnrekha Mahila Samiti inaugurated a new beauty parlour and tailoring shop named ‘Pragati’ at the PVUNL Shopping Complex on 19 November 2025. The initiative aims to empower rural women by providing sustainable employment opportunities and promoting financial independence.
The inauguration was jointly conducted by the committee’s president Mrs. Renu Sehgal and vice president Mrs. Soma Mukherjee, along with other members of the Mahila Club.
The newly launched shop has been allotted to women from nearby villages, enabling them to utilize their skills, generate income, and move towards self–reliance. Through this initiative, local women will be able to strengthen their economic foundation while contributing to community development.
PVUNL’s continued commitment to social development and women empowerment has taken a new step forward through this effort. ‘Pragati’ will not only provide a platform for entrepreneurship but also play a key role in enhancing the livelihood of families and uplifting society as a whole.
