Jharkhand News : A dramatic scene unfolded during the Enforcement Directorate’s raid on coal trader L B Singh on Wednesday. To prevent the ED officials from entering his residence, Singh reportedly released his pet dogs inside the premises. The dogs are roaming freely, making it difficult for officers and security forces to enter the house.
Sources said that although the ED team is accompanied by paramilitary personnel, they have not been able to gain entry into the residence so far due to the aggressive dogs. Meanwhile, Singh is inside the house and has not come out since the raid team arrived.
Along with the raid at Singh’s residence, ED has also searched multiple locations linked to coal traders Anil Goyal and Sanjay Khemka. The action is based on a CBI FIR that ED has taken over as an ECIR to investigate financial irregularities linked to coal trade. Notably, BCCL officials were not included in today’s searches.
The agency continues its search operation across various premises linked to the coal business network.
