Jharkhand News : The World Modern Shotokan Karate Federation (WMSKF) Jharkhand celebrated the 85th birth anniversary of legendary martial artist Bruce Lee with great enthusiasm on 27 November 2025 at the Ashok Nagar Karate Club. The event brought together young students, instructors, and fans who admire Bruce Lee’s extraordinary contributions to martial arts.
During the celebration, WMSKF Jharkhand Secretary Vineet Kumar Yadav addressed the students and shared inspiring facts about Bruce Lee’s life. He explained that Bruce Lee was born on 27 November 1940 in San Francisco, USA. Besides being a world-class martial artist, Lee was also a renowned actor, philosopher, and film director, whose legacy continues to motivate millions across the globe.
Senior instructors present at the event highlighted Bruce Lee’s core principles—discipline, speed, practice, mental clarity, and self-confidence. They emphasized that Bruce Lee’s teachings go far beyond physical strength and encourage a complete transformation of mind and body.
The event witnessed participation from many karatekas and students, including Sensei Anjali, Sensei Jay Govind Singh, Ashutosh Kumar, Mansi Singh, Reewan, Trisang, Nandini, Sucheta, Vedant, Shambhavi, Nihalika, Hansal, Tishya, Apoorv, Rohini, Prisa, Swarnim, Ashvi, and several others.
Participants showcased demonstrations inspired by Bruce Lee’s iconic moves and practiced self-defense techniques taught during the session. Trainers also spoke about the importance of celebrating such events for instilling motivation and discipline in young martial artists.
Towards the end of the program, all participants paid tribute to Bruce Lee’s remarkable journey and pledged to follow his principles in their training and daily life. WMSKF Jharkhand announced that it will continue organizing similar motivational events to encourage and develop emerging martial arts talent in the state.
