Jharkhand News : ESL Steel Ltd. has signed an important agreement with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for the supply of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) at its Bokaro plant. The move is aimed at enhancing energy efficiency, safety and sustainability across selected operational areas of the facility.
The agreement was formalized in the presence of senior officials from both organizations, including Manoj K. Sharma (Executive Director, IOCL), Amiya Kumar Behera (General Manager, IOCL), Ravish Sharma (Deputy CEO & WTD, ESL Steel Ltd.), and Anand Dubey (Chief Financial Officer, ESL Steel Ltd.).
Speaking on the collaboration, Ravish Sharma, Dy. CEO & WTD of ESL Steel Ltd., said:
“Our partnership with IOCL marks a significant step toward sustainable industrial operations. Replacing LPG with PNG—a cleaner and more eco-friendly fuel—will ensure reliable energy supply, improved operational efficiency, and a stronger commitment to environmental responsibility.”
