Jharkhand News : A major operation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) created panic on Thursday morning in the Ansar Nagar locality under Pelawal police station limits of Hazaribagh district. The central agency conducted a raid at the residence of dentist Dr. Jamil, reportedly in connection with a broader terror-funding and extremist network investigation.
According to sources, an NIA team reached the location early in the morning and immediately began a detailed search of the premises. More than 20 CRPF personnel, including both male and female security staff, were deployed to secure the area during the operation.
Officials confirmed that Dr. Jamil has been taken into custody for questioning.
Suspicious Activity Triggered the Action
Investigative sources revealed that the raid was based on specific intelligence inputs regarding suspicious movement and digital communications originating from the area. Central agencies had been monitoring the locality for some time before executing the search operation.
It is believed that certain communication links and ground-level intel played a major role in triggering Thursday’s raid.
