Awareness Campaign on Labour Code Laws Held for PVUNL Employees and Workers

Jharkhand News : An awareness campaign on the four Labour Code laws was organized for employees and workers of Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL). The key objective of the programme was to provide detailed information about the new labour laws and to clearly explain the rights and duties of employees and workers.

The event was attended by Labour Enforcement Officer, Hazaribagh, Mr. Ramakrishna Bhuiyan, as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he elaborated on various provisions of the Labour Codes, their impact, and their practical implementation. He explained how the new labour laws are designed to protect workers’ interests and help create a safer, more transparent, and worker-friendly workplace.

During the awareness session, PVUNL employees and workers actively participated and raised questions, which were addressed by the officials. On the occasion, Mr. Manish Kheterpal, General Manager (O&M), Mr. O.P. Solanki, General Manager (Maintenance), and the Safety Officer were also present. They described the initiative as an important step towards employee welfare and strengthening a safe work culture.

The programme emphasized enhancing awareness about labour laws among employees and reinforcing a better working environment and mutual cooperation within the organization.
