Jharkhand News : Director of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur, Prof. (Dr.) Gautam Sutradhar, paid a courtesy visit to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday at the Chief Minister’s residential office located on Kanke Road, Ranchi. During the meeting, the NIT Director formally invited the Chief Minister to attend the institute’s 15th Convocation Ceremony as a distinguished guest.
Prof. Sutradhar informed the Chief Minister that the convocation ceremony is scheduled to be held on December 29. He also shared that the presence of President of India Droupadi Murmu as the Chief Guest has been proposed for the event. The Chief Minister was briefed about the ongoing preparations for the convocation.
The NIT Director further stated that around 1,000 students will be awarded degrees across various academic programs during the ceremony. The event is expected to be a significant milestone for both the institution and the graduating students.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed his appreciation for the invitation and extended his best wishes for the successful organization of the convocation ceremony.
