BREAKING: Vinay Singh Gets Interim Bail from Supreme Court in FIR 11/25

Jharkhand News : In a major relief to businessman Vinay Singh, the Supreme Court of India on Saturday granted interim bail to him in connection with ACB FIR No. 11/2025. The case relates to alleged illegal purchase and sale of forest land and irregular mutation during the tenure of IAS officer Vinay Choubey as Hazaribagh Deputy Commissioner.

The interim bail was granted by a bench comprising Justice Arvind Kumar and Justice N. V. Anjaria after hearing Vinay Singh’s plea. The court extended temporary relief while further proceedings in the matter continue.

According to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Vinay Singh and his wife Snigdha Singh are named accused in the case. The FIR pertains to land allegedly acquired and mutated in violation of rules. As per ACB records, the land is registered in the names of Vinay Singh and his wife.

The disputed land is located in Hazaribagh Sadar Circle, under Thana No. 252, comprising:

The land falls under Babhanwe Mouza, Halka No. 11 of Sadar Circle. Investigating agencies claim that Vinay Singh and Snigdha Singh are in possession of the land, where a Nexgen automobile showroom is currently operating.

The case is being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Bureau, and further legal proceedings are awaited following the Supreme Court’s interim order.
