Offbeat News : The horrifying lynching of Deepu Chandra Das in Bangladesh has left the world shaken. Bollywood actress Jahnvi Kapoor has now reacted strongly to the incident, expressing her anguish and anger on social media.
Jahnvi took to her Instagram Stories to write a detailed note condemning the brutal act. She wrote, “What is happening in Bangladesh is brutal. This is genocide, and it is not an isolated incident. Read about it, watch the videos, ask questions. And if after all this you still feel no anger, that hypocrisy will destroy us. We will keep crying for things happening across the world while our own brothers and sisters are being burned alive.”
She further emphasized the need to speak out against all forms of extremism before humanity is lost. “We are pawns who believe we live on both sides of an unseen line. Recognize it, arm yourself with knowledge, and raise your voice for the innocent lives that are continuously being destroyed and terrorized in this communal crossfire,” Jahnvi wrote.
The actress is currently in the news for her upcoming film Homebound, which has been selected for the Oscars 2026. She was last seen alongside Varun Dhawan in Tulsi Kumari and will next appear with Ram Charan in the upcoming movie Peddy.
