Facebook Romance Turns Live-In Dispute, Case Reaches Police in Jharkhand

Jharkhand News : A friendship formed on social media has escalated into a serious family dispute, reaching the police in Jharkhand’s Ramgarh district. What began on Facebook allegedly turned into a live-in relationship between a man with three children and a woman who is the mother of four, prompting intervention by local authorities.

According to information, Rajkumar Kesari, also known as Bablu, a resident of Selhara Kala in Hazaribagh district, was married to Soni Devi about a decade ago. The couple has three children. Rajkumar had been working in Kerala as a JCB machine operator to support his family.

Friendship on Facebook, Relationship Grows

While in Kerala, Rajkumar reportedly became friends on Facebook with Rinki Devi, a married woman who has four children. As online conversations continued, the two allegedly developed a close relationship that later turned into a romantic involvement.

Couple Lived Together in Kerala

It is alleged that Rajkumar began distancing himself from his family, while the woman left her husband and started living with Rajkumar in Kerala along with her children. After learning about the situation, Rajkumar’s wife Soni Devi travelled to Kerala and brought her husband back to Kujju.

Meanwhile, the alleged partner also arrived in Kujju. It is claimed that when her husband attempted to leave her at her parental home and go to Hazaribagh, members of her family stopped him on the way.

Matter Reaches Police, Suicide Threat Alleged

Following the incident, all parties reached the Kujju OP. During hours of questioning, the alleged couple insisted on living together. Police said the two also threatened suicide if they were forcibly separated, making the situation more sensitive.

Given the seriousness of the matter, Kujju OP police referred the case to the Ramgarh Women Police Station for further inquiry and appropriate action.

Police officials said the case is being examined from all angles and further steps will be taken after detailed investigation.
