Missing Ranchi Siblings Ansh-Anshika Found Safe, CM Praises Police

Jharkhand News : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has congratulated the Jharkhand Police for the safe recovery of five-year-old Ansh Kumar and four-year-old Anshika Kumari, who had gone missing from Ranchi. Calling it a major success, the Chief Minister praised the police team for their dedication, strategic approach, and tireless efforts.

Taking to social media platform X, CM Soren said that two innocent lives have been freed from the clutches of kidnappers. He admitted that the past few days had been personally distressing for him, as initial leads were hard to trace. However, by linking clues from similar incidents in other states, the Ranchi Police successfully tracked down the criminals and rescued the children safely.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the investigation will not stop here. He stated that a thorough probe will be conducted into similar incidents occurring both within and outside the state, and strict action will be taken to dismantle such criminal gangs completely.

CM Soren also directed the Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi to extend all possible assistance to the affected family and ensure they are connected to relevant government welfare schemes. He said that only a mother and her family can truly understand the immense joy of this moment.

It is noteworthy that the siblings went missing on January 2 around 3 PM from the Mausibari Khatal area under Dhurwa police station while they had gone out to buy biscuits. After an intensive 12-day search operation, the police successfully recovered both children safely from Chitarpur in Ramgarh district. Their safe return has brought immense relief to the family and the local community.
