Jharkhand News : The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the Class 10 board exam admit card on its official website. However, the admit cards can be downloaded only by the principals/head of institutions through the council portal, and students will have to collect their admit cards from their respective schools.
JAC has directed schools to download and distribute the admit cards on time to ensure the examination process runs smoothly.
Exams from February 3 to February 17
As per the schedule, the JAC Class 10 board exams will be held from February 3 to February 17, 2026. The examinations will take place in the first shift (morning) from 9:45 AM to 1:00 PM, and students will get 15 minutes extra to read the question paper before writing the exam.
Practical and Viva Dates
After the written exams, schools will conduct practical and viva examinations from February 24 to March 7 (as per the notice shared in the update).
Exam Pattern and Marks Break-up

The exam will be conducted through a Question-cum-Answer Booklet (no OMR sheet).

MCQ answers will also be written in the answer booklet itself.
Marks distribution:

30%: MCQ questions

50%: Short & long answer questions

20%: Internal assessment
