Jharkhand Weather Update: Light Rain Likely in These Districts on Feb 3

Jharkhand News : A major weather update has emerged for Jharkhand. According to the latest forecast issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Ranchi Centre, light rainfall is likely on February 3 in parts of the state, particularly in the north-western and adjoining central regions. The remaining areas of Jharkhand are expected to witness dry weather.

The weather department said that light fog may prevail during the morning hours, followed by partly cloudy skies later in the day. Districts where light rain is expected include Ranchi, Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Latehar, Bokaro, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti, Ramgarh, Lohardaga, Koderma and Dhanbad.

Ranchi Temperature Outlook

In the state capital Ranchi, the maximum temperature is likely to remain between 28°C and 30°C, while the minimum temperature may hover around 12°C to 14°C. From January 29 to February 1, Ranchi is expected to experience light morning fog, followed by partly cloudy conditions, with the weather largely remaining dry.

Rising Temperatures in Several Districts

As January draws to a close, day temperatures are gradually increasing across several districts of Jharkhand. On Wednesday, Chaibasa recorded a maximum temperature of 30.8°C, while the minimum temperature stood at 13.2°C, indicating a gradual warming trend across the region.
