In contrast, the state capital Ranchi recorded 9 mm of rainfall, though light showers and overcast skies persisted throughout Wednesday.
Rainy weather was observed across the capital region since morning, contributing to pleasant temperatures and humidity. Despite the light showers, cloudy conditions kept the sun hidden most of the day.

The IMD has predicted that the monsoon will remain active over Jharkhand in the coming days, particularly in northwestern and central districts. The rains may lead to rising water levels in rivers and streams, especially in rural and low-lying areas.
The state disaster management teams and local administrations have been advised to stay alert and make preparations for potential emergencies. Rural roads may get waterlogged, and transportation might be affected if rainfall intensifies.
Farmers and villagers in the affected areas are being asked to take extra precautions and not work in open fields during thunderstorms. IMD has also recommended closely monitoring updates and alerts issued through official government sources.
