Jharkhand News : The Jharkhand Cabinet, in its Thursday meeting, approved a total of 27 proposals, while two proposals were deferred. One of the deferred proposals concerned granting age relaxation to students appearing for the 14th JPSC exam.
Sources say that the government has not yet finalized the number of years of age relaxation, so the proposal was deferred. For the 11th to 13th JPSC exams, the cut-off date was August 2017, while students are demanding August 2018 for the 14th exam.
In another significant decision, the state government has restructured the pension scheme for athletes who win medals at national and international competitions.
