Jharkhand News : On the third day of the ongoing Budget Session of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, State Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore tabled a ₹6,450 crore third supplementary budget in the House on Friday.

The supplementary budget includes additional financial allocations for various government departments, development schemes, and pending projects across the state. According to the government, the additional funds aim to accelerate ongoing development initiatives and ensure the timely completion of infrastructure and welfare projects.

Focus on Development and Infrastructure

The government stated that the third supplementary budget will provide extra resources to key sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, rural development, and social welfare. The move is expected to strengthen implementation and fast-track public service delivery across Jharkhand.

Key Public Issues Raised During Zero Hour

Earlier during Zero Hour, legislators from both the ruling party and the opposition raised several public-interest concerns in the House. Issues related to students’ education, land rights of raiyats (landholders), inflation, and basic civic amenities were discussed extensively.

MLAs urged the government to take concrete measures to address the problems faced by students, farmers, and the general public. Detailed discussions on the supplementary budget and other public matters are expected in the coming days of the session.
