Jharkhand news : To celebrate the festive spirit of Holi, the Kavi Sammelan Organising Committee will host a Hasya Kavi Sammelan (Humour Poetry Conference) on March 1 at Marwari Bhawan, Ranchi.
Committee convenor Pawan Sharma said the event aims to add literary joy and laughter to the Holi celebrations. Committee spokesperson and treasurer Manoj Bajaj informed that renowned humour and satirical poets from across India will take part in the programme.
The poets scheduled to perform include Sunil Jogi from Delhi, Khyali Sharan from Rajasthan, Dr. Aditya Jain from Kota, Dr. Vishnu Saxena from Uttar Pradesh, Shraddha Shaurya from Nagpur, and Parth Naveen from Pratapgarh.
Organisers said the evening promises laughter-filled performances, sharp satire, and vibrant poetry, making it a memorable cultural celebration for the city’s residents during Holi.
