Jharkhand News : On Thursday, various Sarna committees met with Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residential office in Ranchi and invited him to participate in the upcoming Sarhul Festival.
The delegation from Sarna Puja Committee, Dahutoli, Hatma, Ranchi handed over an invitation letter to the CM for the Sarhul Puja Mahotsav scheduled on March 21. The delegation included committee president Vishwas Oraon along with Kamal Munda, Rohan Kachhap, Ashutosh Goswami, Sudhir Minz, and Basant Toppo.
Similarly, the Central Sarna Committee, Ranchi met the CM and invited him to attend the traditional Sarhul Puja program at Sirmtoli. The delegation included president Ajay Tirkey, Rahul Oraon, Nima Tirkey, Sushma Rani Bhagat, Munna Oraon, Sachin Kachhap, Bablu Oraon, Laxmi Narayan Munda, Amit Munda, Sunil Toppo, Babulal Mahli, Commissioner Munda, and Vijay Kachhap among other members.
The invitation for Sarhul Festival is considered significant for the local cultural and religious community. The CM’s participation is expected to enhance the importance and prestige of this festival.
