Jharkhand News : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday held a courtesy meeting with Vijay Kumar Gupta, Divisional Commissioner of North Chotanagpur Division, at the Chief Minister’s Residential Office on Kanke Road in Ranchi. The meeting also included discussions on various administrative and developmental issues concerning the state.
During the interaction, the Divisional Commissioner briefed the Chief Minister on the progress of ongoing development projects, administrative initiatives, and public welfare matters across the division. The status of key infrastructure projects related to drinking water supply, roads, education, and healthcare was also reviewed.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren emphasized the effective implementation of development schemes and ensuring that the benefits of government welfare programs reach people at the grassroots level. He directed officials to maintain transparency and efficiency in development works while ensuring the prompt resolution of public grievances.
Vijay Kumar Gupta informed the Chief Minister about various development activities and administrative measures being undertaken in the districts of North Chotanagpur Division. He assured that development projects would be accelerated in line with the government’s priorities and that the administration would remain committed to the effective implementation of public welfare schemes.
The meeting also focused on strengthening governance, improving public service delivery, and accelerating overall regional development to benefit the people of the division.
