Jharkhand News : The 2nd Open Inter-District Karate Championship, organized by the World Modern Shotokan Karate Federation Jharkhand, concluded successfully at Argora Marriage Hall.
The championship was inaugurated by Federation President Naveen Prasad Sahu, Secretary Vineet Kumar Yadav, and Jharkhand Dance Sport President Ramswaroop Kumar by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Karate players from various districts across Jharkhand participated in the event and showcased their skills.
Winners to Represent Jharkhand at National Championship
The organizers announced that all gold and silver medal winners from the championship have qualified to represent Jharkhand at the National Karate Championship, which will be organized by the World Modern Shotokan Karate Federation India on August 29, 2026, at Chowk Stadium in Lucknow.
Medal and Trophy Distribution
The winners were felicitated with medals and trophies by Prakash Sahu, Muneshwar Sahu, Dr. Amrish Kumar, and Dr. Nisha Singh.
The event was also attended by tournament officials Dilip Lohra, Prakash Ravidas, Anjali Kumari, Devanand Seth, Jai Govind Singh, Badal Kumar Yadav, Priya Bhogta, Priya Toppo, Nisha Kumari, Sunita Mahto, and Sanjeeta Lakra, along with several sports enthusiasts and dignitaries.
