Jharkhand News : Notorious Jharkhand gangster Sujit Sinha was killed in a police encounter while being shifted from Sahibganj to Dhanbad Jail, according to initial reports.
Police sources said the incident occurred in Jamtara after the police vehicle transporting Sinha reportedly suffered a tyre puncture. During the halt, Sinha allegedly snatched a weapon from a police personnel and attempted to escape.
Police claimed that during the escape attempt, an encounter ensued in which Sinha was shot and killed.
