Jharkhand News : Young achiever Himanshu Hari from Ranchi has brought laurels to Jharkhand by securing All India Rank 66 (AIR-66) in the UPSC Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Examination 2025. Achieving the feat in his very first attempt, Himanshu has made his family and the entire state proud.
Education from Prestigious Institutions
Himanshu completed his Class 12 education in the Science stream from DAV Kapru School, Ranchi. He then graduated from the prestigious St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
He went on to pursue an MA in Development Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.
Professional Experience with Leading Organisations
Before pursuing a career in the administrative and security services, Himanshu gained valuable experience in the corporate and research sectors.
He has worked with internationally reputed organisations including The Economist and Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He also served as an Associate Programme Manager at the Foundation for Economic Development.

Speaking about his success, Himanshu credited his achievement to the guidance and support of his parents, teachers, family members and well-wishers.
He said that consistent hard work, focused preparation and the confidence of his loved ones helped him achieve his goal.
His father, Ajit Kumar, is working as DMS under the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS) in the Ranchi region, while his mother is Usha Kumar.
