Jharkhand News : Students of Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Rajrappa delivered an outstanding performance at the Cluster-Level Quiz Competition organized by Vidya Vikas Samiti, Jharkhand, securing top positions across multiple events. The competition was held on August 11 at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Giddi Basti and featured contests in Science Quiz, Vedic Mathematics Quiz, Cultural Knowledge Quiz, Sculpture, Extempore Speech, and Storytelling.
During the school’s morning assembly, Principal Umesh Prasad felicitated the winners and congratulated them on their achievements. He said that quiz competitions help students strengthen subject knowledge, logical reasoning, self-confidence, and public speaking skills. He also appreciated the dedication of the students and the guidance provided by the teachers in bringing laurels to the institution.
Science Quiz
In the Junior Category, Class VIII students Suraj Kumar, Lucky Kumar, and Aditya Kumar Sudhanshu secured first place. In the Senior Category, Class X students Harshit Raj, Harsh Jha, and Avinash Kumar also won first place. In the Higher Secondary Category, Rajni Kumari, Deepika Kumari (Class XII), and Aditi Singh (Class XI) secured second place.
Vedic Mathematics Quiz
In the Primary Category, Class V students Rudra Kumar Verma, Harshit Kumar, and Nitesh Kumar secured third place. In the Senior Category, Class IX students Shubham Bhattacharya, Deepak Kumar, and Mahendra Kumar also finished third. In the Higher Secondary Category, Neeraj Kumar, Jiya Kumari, and Lakshmi Singh of Class XII won first place.
Cultural Knowledge Quiz
The Primary Category team comprising Anshika Singh, Roshni Kumari, and Rishabh Hazra secured first place. In the Senior Category, Shivam Sahu, Aditya Kumar, and Bunty Prajapati of Class X finished third. The Higher Secondary Category team of Amardeep Kumar, Deepika Kumari, and Srishti Kumari from Class XI claimed first place.
Success in Other Competitions
In the Sculpture Competition, Moli Kumari secured second place in the junior category, while Ankit Karmali of Class X finished second in the senior category. Aman won first place in the Extempore Speech Competition, and Nisha Gorai secured first place in the Storytelling Competition, adding to the school’s impressive medal tally.
School President Lalan Kumar Rai, Secretary Chandrashekhar Choudhary, CSR Nodal Officer Ashish Jha, and the teaching staff congratulated the winners and wished them continued success. They encouraged students to maintain their commitment to hard work, discipline, and excellence in future competitions.
