Jharkhand News : A bus carrying pilgrims collided violently with a truck in Koderma district early Friday morning. A 12-year-old boy was killed in the accident, while around 40 to 50 passengers were injured.
The accident took place at around 4 am near Pokhardiha Mor under the Satgawan police station area. The impact was so intense that panic spread among the passengers travelling on the bus.
Pilgrims Were Returning from Basukinath Dham
According to the initial information, the Safari Travels bus carrying the pilgrims was travelling towards Rajgir after the passengers had visited Basukinath Dham for darshan and Jalabhishek.
The bus collided head-on with an uncontrolled truck near Pokhardiha Mor. Shivam Kumar, 12, a resident of Nepal’s Rautahat district, died on the spot.
Pilgrims Had Also Visited Deoghar
The pilgrims had visited Deoghar and Basukinath Dham for darshan and Jalabhishek. Rajgir was their next destination.
The accident occurred during this journey in the Satgawan area of Koderma, turning the pilgrimage trip into a tragic incident.
