Jharkhand News : Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), Koderma Thermal Power Station (KTPS), celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm at the KTPS premises.
The celebration was graced by Sanjay Kumar, CGM & HOP, DVC KTPS, as the Chief Guest, in the presence of Aman Jyoti, GM (O&M), Mahesh Kumar, Deputy Commandant, CISF, senior executives and employees of DVC and CISF, along with their family members and children.
Addressing the gathering, Sanjay Kumar extended his greetings on the occasion and delivered an inspiring and motivational address, highlighting DVC’s significant contribution to nation-building, power generation, sustainable development and socio-welfare initiatives. He emphasised the collective responsibility of every stakeholder towards strengthening the nation and contributing to its continued progress.
The celebrations featured a vibrant cultural programme, reflecting the spirit of patriotism and national pride. The occasion also included an award and appreciation ceremony, recognising outstanding contributions and achievements of employees and other stakeholders.
