Jharkhand Wins 5 Medals at National Karate Championship in Lucknow

Lucknow/ Ranchi : Jharkhand players put up an impressive performance on the opening day of the third Open National Karate Championship, being held at KD Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow on August 22 and 23. The state’s players secured gold, silver and bronze medals in the competition.

Kamlesh Oraon won the gold medal, while Anish Oraon and Rudraksh Kumar secured silver medals.
Ishtiaq Qureshi, Ravi Oraon, Mansa Tamrakar, Abu Rehan and Keshav Kumar won bronze medals.

Jharkhand’s Women Players to Compete on Day Two
Jharkhand’s women players will showcase their skills on the second day of the championship. The players scheduled to compete are Anjali Kumari, Sanvi Sinha, Vaishnavi Kumari, Alia, Sufia Parveen, Radhika Kumari, Afrina Parveen and Anshika Yadavanshi.

All the players will represent Jharkhand in the championship and aim to deliver their best performances.

Association Officials Extend Best Wishes

Association president Naveen Prasad Sahu and secretary Vineet Kumar Yadav, along with Prakash Ravidas, Dilip Lohra, Devanand Seth, Sachin Kumar, Ravi Oraon and other office-bearers, extended their best wishes to the players. The association officials also said the players would receive a grand welcome upon returning after representing Jharkhand.
