Deoghar Sees Sea of Devotees at Baba Dham on Final Sawan Monday

Jharkhand News : A massive wave of devotion swept through Baba Dham on the fourth and final Monday of the Shravani Mela 2026, with a huge number of devotees arriving to offer holy water to Baba Baidyanath.

The temple doors opened at 4:13 am, following which the Jalabhishek began. Chants of “Bol Bam” and “Har Har Mahadev” echoed across the temple town as devotees thronged the shrine.

Kanwariya Queue Reaches Nandan Pahar

Devotees showed tremendous enthusiasm on the final Sawan Monday. The queue of Kanwariyas waiting to offer water to Baba Baidyanath had reached Nandan Pahar by 2 am.

Despite the long queue, devotees continued to arrive in large numbers. The route line was packed with Shiva devotees, who moved towards the temple in an orderly queue while chanting praises of Lord Shiva.

Administration Makes Arrangements for Smooth Darshan

The administration has made extensive arrangements to manage the large crowd and ensure smooth Jalabhishek for the devotees.

Crowd management measures have been put in place to facilitate the movement of Kanwariyas and other devotees towards the temple.

Deoghar Turns Completely Shivmay

On the final Monday of Sawan, the temple town of Deoghar has turned completely Shivmay, immersed in devotion to Lord Shiva.

The sound of “Har Har Mahadev” can be heard everywhere as devotees continue to make their way towards Baba Baidyanath Dham.
