Jharkhand News : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Saturday met a delegation of the Sri Krishna Janmotsav Organising Committee, Morabadi, at the Chief Minister’s residential office on Kanke Road in Ranchi.
During the meeting, the committee members invited the Chief Minister to attend various programmes being organised on the occasion of the upcoming Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations as the chief guest.
Events Scheduled for September 3 and 4
The committee members informed Chief Minister Hemant Soren that a Bal Gopal programme will be organised on September 3, 2026.
On September 4, 2026, the committee will organise a Dahi Handi breaking competition, Bhajan Sandhya and Rasleela at Morabadi Ground. The delegation requested the Chief Minister to attend these programmes as the chief guest.
Preparations Underway for Janmashtami Celebrations
The delegation informed the Chief Minister that, as in previous years, grand religious and cultural programmes are being organised this year as well on the auspicious occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami.
The celebrations will include the Bal Gopal programme and Dahi Handi breaking competition, along with various other religious and cultural events. The organising committee is currently making preparations for the programmes.

During the meeting, Chief Patron Rajiv Ranjan Prasad, President Vinod Gop, Patrons Dr Rajesh Gupta and Dr Kumar Raja, Secretary Rohit Singh, Working President Rahul Kittu Singh, General Secretary Manoj Gupta and Joint Secretary Narendra Singh, along with other members of the committee, were present.
