Jharkhand News : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended the 219th Urs of Hazrat Qutubuddin Risaldar Baba at his shrine in Doranda, Ranchi, on Sunday. On the occasion, he followed the tradition of offering a chadar at the shrine and prayed for the state’s prosperity, peace, progress and well-being.
Chief Minister Attends Urs Ceremony
Hemant Soren said that the teachings of Hazrat Qutubuddin Risaldar Baba convey the message of love, brotherhood, humanity and communal harmony. He said that on the sacred occasion of the Urs, he wished for happiness, peace and prosperity in the lives of the people of Jharkhand.
Prayers for Brotherhood and Social Harmony
The Chief Minister also prayed for further strengthening the spirit of brotherhood, social harmony and unity in the state. He extended his Urs greetings to all devotees who attended the ceremony as well as to the people of Jharkhand.
