Jharkhand News : Continuous rainfall in Koderma and several other districts of Jharkhand has disrupted normal life. Waterlogging has been reported on several roads in the city, causing considerable inconvenience to commuters.
Heavy waterlogging occurred on the National Highway (NH) and service roads following continuous rain. Several parts of the city were inundated, with roads turning into virtual ponds.
One NH Lane Submerged
One lane of the highway was completely submerged in water after the rainfall. Several vehicles also became stranded on the service road due to waterlogging.
The situation made movement difficult for motorists and pedestrians, with large stretches of the roads remaining covered with water.
SDO’s Vehicle Also Gets Stuck
The vehicle of the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), who had reached the area to inspect the waterlogging situation, also got stuck in the water.
After considerable effort, the vehicle was eventually pulled out from the waterlogged stretch. The continuous rainfall has left several roads in Koderma severely waterlogged.
