Jharkhand News : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday attended the Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebration and Dahi Handi competition organised by the Shri Krishna Janmotsav Organising Committee at Morabadi Maidan in Ranchi.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of Jharkhand on Shri Krishna Janmashtami. He wished everyone happiness, prosperity, progress and well-being.
Krishna’s Life Inspires People to Follow the Path of Duty
Addressing the gathering, Soren said people had assembled to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna. He said he had continuously participated in such programmes with the people.
The Chief Minister said the large gathering of devotees had added to the enthusiasm of the auspicious occasion. Several participants also took part in the programme, and he extended his greetings and best wishes to all devotees and participants.
Soren said the life and teachings of Lord Krishna inspire humanity to follow the path of truth, righteousness, love, compassion and duty.
He said the festival of Janmashtami reminds people to incorporate Lord Krishna’s ideals into their lives and strengthen the spirit of love, brotherhood, harmony and mutual cooperation in society.
Dahi Handi Competition Inaugurated
The Chief Minister wished that with the blessings and grace of Lord Krishna, Jharkhand would continue to witness happiness, peace, prosperity and well-being.
He also expressed hope that the state would continue to move forward on the path of development and progress.
During the programme, Soren felicitated participants of the Shri Krishna Janmotsav and inaugurated the Dahi Handi competition.
