Jharkhand News : Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Radha Govind Public School on September 5, 2026. The programme began with floral tributes, prayers and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp in honour of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and the founders of Radha-Govind Educational Institution, late Govind Sah and late Radha Devi.
School Chairman B. N. Sah, School Secretary Priyanka Kumari, institution member Phoolmati Sah and Radha Govind University CFO Sanjay Kumar participated in the opening ceremony.
A cake was later cut to mark the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
Teachers and Staff Honoured
On the occasion, Chairman B. N. Sah, Secretary Priyanka Kumari and Phoolmati Sah honoured all teachers and staff members with gifts.
B. N. Sah appreciated the dedication and hard work of the teachers and said that the continuous progress of the school’s students was the result of their efforts. He said education should not be limited to books but should also serve as a means of character building and nation building.
Students Present Cultural Performances
Students of Radha Govind Public School presented colourful cultural programmes during the Teachers’ Day celebration. Their performances added enthusiasm and joy to the occasion.
Principal Dr Sujit Kumar Mohanty extended Teachers’ Day greetings to all teachers and highlighted the importance of the teacher-student relationship. He said respecting teachers should not be limited to one day and that following their guidance in one’s conduct was the greatest form of respect for a teacher.
Celebration Concludes in a Joyful Atmosphere
The programme was conducted by Rajshree Ojha and Ankit Jha. Administrator K. N. Singh, lecturer Dr Sanjay Singh, teachers, students and staff members were present on the occasion.
The Teachers’ Day celebration concluded in an atmosphere of respect, enthusiasm and cultural joy.
